Arriving from the Airport – Vancouver, Canada

There are several convenient options to travel from Vancouver International Airport (YVR) to downtown Vancouver:

Taxi & Ride-Share

Taxis are readily available at the airport, with a flat-rate fare to downtown Vancouver. Ride-sharing services such as Uber and Lyft also operate from designated pick-up areas.

SkyTrain – Canada Line

The Canada Line SkyTrain provides a fast and affordable way to reach downtown Vancouver. The YVR-Airport Station is located at the airport, with trains departing every few minutes. The journey to downtown Vancouver (Waterfront Station) takes approximately 25 minutes.

  • If you’re heading to a specific area within downtown, you can transfer to other SkyTrain lines or bus routes at Waterfront Station.
  • Purchase a Compass Card or a single-use Compass Ticket at the station before boarding.
Bus Services

While SkyTrain is the most efficient option, public bus services also connect YVR with surrounding areas. Check TransLink’s website for current schedules and routes.
