Speakers Outside of Western Australia
As Western Australia currently has border restrictions in place in response to COVID-19, it is unlikely that speakers from outside Western Australia will be able to physically attend SSIM 2021. For information on Western Australia’s border restrictions, and conditions for entry, please see https://www.wa.gov.au/organisation/covid-communications/covid-19-coronavirus-controlled-border
As such, we ask speakers from outside Western Australia to please be prepared to conduct their presentation through the SSIM 2021 online event platform, which we are currently developing. Please refer to the SSIM 2021 Presenter Guide for instructions on how to conduct your presentation through the online event platform. You will be provided with login details to the platform closer to the date of the SSIM 2021 conference.
Keynotes will be given 40 minutes for their presentation, plus 5 minutes for questions.
Speakers will be given 25 minutes for their presentation, plus 5 minutes for questions.
PowerPoint presentations should be created in aspect ratio 16:9 (widescreen). Speakers who are presenting in-person will need to submit their PowerPoint to the ACG by Friday, 15 October 2021.
A pre-recorded version of your presentation is required by all speakers and will only be played in the event of any technical issues. Please submit this as an .mp4 file to the ACG at email@example.com or WeTransfer (if the file is too large for email) by Friday, 15 October 2021. Please refer to the attached SSIM 2021 Zoom Recordings for instructions on how to record your presentation.
Please provide the ACG with a full colour photo of yourself in JPG format, at least 200 px × 300 px, via email for inclusion in the SSIM 2021 Conference Speakers page by Friday 8 October 2021.
